DRAMA: Camera, lights, action!

This fairly lightweight glitzy drama continues to impress, although some episodes are definitely superior to others. Tonight, following the departure of hotel manager Charlie (Max Beesley), newly promoted and naive manager Jack (Lee Williams) has a lot on his plate when a film crew descends. John Barrowman (pictured) is one of the guest stars, playing a stroppy film director, and all hell breaks loose as the cast and crew behave like divas.

Oh, and there's a great moment when Ben, James, Gino and co perform an hilarious performance of Bohemian Rhapsody. You have been warned.... Paul Strange (Click to continue reading)

Monolith mystery

Stirring Second World War classic

David Lean's multi-Oscar winning Second World War drama. Alec Guinness steals the show as stiff upper-lipped Colonel Nicholson. British POWs, led by Nicholson, are forced to build a jungle railroad bridge in Indochina.
