After last night's tough opener, there's more blood, guts and incomprehension as DS Boyd (Trevor Eve, pictured) and co continue their investigation into a ritual burial, seemingly carried out by a group of men who went native during a male-bonding exercise.
Gradually things become clearer in the murky tale, but you know there's bound to be more deaths before Boyd can wrap it up. And there's some disturbing news for Boyd about his own son in what becomes a very downbeat conclusion. Paul Strange
