The series in which six modern Western women live for nearly a month with six different tribes all over the world concludes with doctor Andrea's visit to an Indonesian island.

The Mentawai live deep in the jungle on a remote island off the coast of Indonesia. They are a monogamous tribe where the women are tattooed and sharpen their teeth. Their lives are dominated by the spirit world and male "sikerei", or witch doctors, watch over the village.

Living with them for nearly a month is 38-year-old Andrea, known as "Andy".

Andy is deeply driven. She is a doctor specialising in dental sedation. She has run marathons, rowed for her university and fenced for Britain. But in her cluttered and successful world, she seems to have forgotten herself.

Among the Mentawai, high-flying Andy is adopted as a daughter of the tribe. Fascinated by their views on medicine and their profound connection to the spirit world, Andy throws herself into life as a Mentawai woman and is forced to revaluate what success means.

The time that Lana spend with the Afar woman has hopefully helped her overcome her past which has clearly caused her great pain and shame. I found her to be a truly honest and compansionate person and I wish her every success with her future. Bless you Lana

Not a patch on last week's episode. I found Karen to be patronising both towards the Waorani and towards the viewer. She played up for the cameras at every given opportunity whereas last week's particpant, Sass, was extremely natural and compassionate. I can't believe Karen was allowed to marry into the Waorani tribe and walk out a day later. Disgraceful.

a lovely episode and being the soft romantic that I am was so sad for the lovely waorani husband that she left behind after he spent a month hunting for her and doing everything possible to impress her and win her heart
