Good to report that after last week's rather nervy hit-and-miss opener, this second episode of the British-Iranian stand-up comic's new show is a more settled and assured affair. Djalili looks more confident, is less shouty and rarely needs to fall back on his stock-in trade - a jokey belly-dance routine - to get laughs from the audience. But it's still not totally there, feeling raw and annoyingly rough around the edges.
Tonight's highlights are the football commentator sketch (slightly obvious but develops well), the Gordon Brown/Scottish integrity rant (fine observation) and the Middle EastEnders skit. Elsewhere, some of the material - such as the Mr Darcy/Pride and Prejudice spoof and the Casualty actors' workshop - feels way too long and simply not that funny.
