In Blackpool, Maggie is trying to raise her five children in the UK's gambling Mecca. Her eldest son Jamie, 18, is addicted to gambling and spends hundreds of pounds each week playing the slots along the Golden Mile. His compulsion has left him struggling to support his partner and baby son. What's more, it has contributed to his family's escalating debt. Can Maggie save her youngest son Liam from becoming addicted as well, or will she have to take more drastic action and leave the town for good?
