One of the biggest shows of the season so far, tonight Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant (pictured) teams up with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss (pictured) to perform music from their acclaimed Raising Sand album. Although it may seem an unlikely combination, the two voices work surprisingly well. Songs include Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On), Killing The Blues and the album's opener Rich Woman.

Another great country singer is also featured this evening. Emmylou Harris performs How She Could Sing The Wildwood Flower. Meanwhile Glaswegian rockers The Fratellis are on form with three numbers - Mistress Mabel, A Heady Tale and My Friend John.

Jools's ex-Squeeze mate Chris Difford is also on hand. He performs Battersea Boys, a track from his recently released Stiff album The Last Temptation of Chris. Jason Pierce, who has recovered from major health problems some years back, returns with his band Spiritualized to perform three numbers - Soul On Fire, Sweet Talk and You Lie You Cheat. Finally there's a number from Philadelphia-born Santogold, who fuses reggae, electro, indie rock and punk to great effect. Good stuff. Paul Strange

Did you know? Alison Krauss worked with Emmylou Harris and others on the soundtrack music for the Coen brothers' film O Brother, Where Art Thou?, released in 2000.
