These students are the cream of the crop, hand-picked from thousands of applicants to join the exclusive 410 Training Squadron at the Canadian Forces Base in Cold Lake, Alberta.
In the first episode, the rookie pilots experience study, stress and sleep deprivation as they deal with information overload at fighter town. Starting from the ground up, they are introduced to the Hornet's flight manual and have a month to learn the details of the supersonic jet or they'll find themselves packing their bags for home. Once they have mastered this aviation bible, the pulling G effects of the human centrifuge test await them. Who will survive the gruelling physical punishment?
