Graham Norton introduces the first, all-important live show as the search continues for a new Nancy and a total of three youthful protégés to play orphaned urchin Oliver in Cameron Mackintosh's forthcoming revival of the much-loved musical Oliver!

Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and the panel - John Barrowman, Denise Van Outen and Barry Humphries - preside over proceedings as, from the thousands of hopefuls, 12 prospective Nancys and 12 Olivers made it to the live shows. Now the hard work really begins for the Nancy finalists who take to the stage tonight. Once the panel and Andrew Lloyd Webber have delivered their expert opinion, viewers are able to vote for their favourite when the lines open at the end of the show. Whose dreams will be shattered, and who will survive to become the public's choice?

In the meantime, the final line-up of 12 Olivers will join the Nancys in an opening performance of the show's classic song, I'd Do Anything. They will also perform together as a group. Each week, they will take part in a musical task before Andrew and the panel decide which of them will receive a semi-final place and the chance to potentially become a new Oliver.
