Sadly this is beginning to plod just a little. While still fairly intense, it's becoming slightly harder to engage with the plot, let alone one or two of the new Heroes who seem less interesting than those in the first series. Or maybe it's just that bouncy, jolly Hiro is not featured in this episode, and there's a decidedly darker tone all round.
On the plus side, one of the new Heroes, Monica (Dana Davis, pictured) is rather nifty at mimicking things. A cousin of Micah's, we see her working at a burger bar, but after her extaordinary prowess with a tomato or two, plainly it won't be long before she flips considerably more than a cheeseburger.
Elsewhere Maya and Alejandro continue their long trek to the US, meeting up en route with nasty Sylar. Yes the serial killer is back in the thick of things. Not only that but he's even switched back to his original name of Gabriel. Maya describes him as an angel. How wrong can she be?
Meanwhile Claire looks like she's found love and it sends her soaring off into the sky in the arms of another new Hero. Needless to say her father is growing increasingly concerned. But most worrying of all, Molly is having terrible nightmares. Could the man in her dreams be the biggest threat to the Heroes?
I wanted to say that I added my own fan art to the Heroes website. Check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks ;)
