The story of Ellen Parsons's imprisonment for David Connor's murder converges with the tumultuous events surrounding Patty Hewes's efforts to bring down Arthur Frobisher, in the penultimate episode of the compelling legal drama starring Glenn Close and Ted Danson.
Before calling the police to let them know about Ray Fiske's death, Patty (Close) asks Ellen (Rose Byrne) to guard the file of incriminating documents which led Fiske to take his own life. Shaken by events, Patty asks Tom (Tate Donovan) to take the lead on the case while she spends a few days alone at her beach house.
Having learnt of Ray's death, Frobisher also learns about Gregory's videotaped confession. Knowing the damage that the videotape could do to him, Frobisher makes plans to get hold of it at any cost.
Meanwhile, things between Ellen and David (Noah Bean) reach breaking point when David learns that Ellen has been lying to him as she has been secretly working for Patty on the Frobisher case. After being given an ultimatum Ellen walks out, while David is then visited by an intruder in search of the videotape...
Unfortunately Damages isn't on the air any time soon.

i am really cross with the bbc about the finale of damages, i have watched all 12 episodes faithfully waiting for the finale with bated breath, and what do they do put on the golf, so that it was shown later than planned and as i had set my video for it and wasn't aware it would be running late i only got the first 9 minutes!! what a lot of use that is. what am i supposed to do now? it really makes me cross yes if i was watching i would have tuned in later and caught it all but as i was away, how was my video supposed to know the difference between golf and good drama?

Why has the BBC not give a warning to viewers that "Damages" is being not being screened as nornal on Monday 10 March? The best show of the week is being stitched up with no warning or expalnation. The BBC should do better.
