Narrated by Alan Whicker, BBC2's comedy walkabout continues its second series, this week covering everywhere from Leeds to Nottingham.

Matthew Corbett revisits the fish and chip shop in Guisley where his father Harry was brought up and devised Sooty (pictured). Chris Moyles goes back to Radio Aire and Topshop in Leeds where he started his career. Similarly, Jon Culshaw returns to Sheffield Hallam radio station where he worked as a DJ in the 1980s and did his first impressions.

Elsewhere Mark Thomas revisits the Labour club, the Red Shed in Wakefield, where in the miners' strike he did his first gig and saw the political comedy light. Carol Vorderman goes back to Yorkshire Television to talk about Richard Whiteley and the infamous ferret incident. And The Chuckle Brothers return to Rotherham Civic Theatre where as kids they were at dance school and first performed as a double act.
