Continuing from the previous episode's standoff, Starbuck travels with Leoben to the Cylon base ship to meet the Hybrid in a bid to discover the true path to Earth. With time running out before the Demetrius must return to the fleet, Starbuck must work against the clock to understand the Hybrid's ramblings. Will she take heed of the warning: "You are the harbinger of death Kara Thrace; you will lead them all to their end"?
Meanwhile, back on Galactica, cancer-stricken and emotional president Laura Roslin connects with another terminally ill patient, as she undergoes another bout of intensive treatment. And with the Admiral concerned for the Demetrius' late return, the duo in charge of the fleet share an intimate and touching moment.
