The first ever English language Singaporean sitcom. The Television Corporation of Singapore decided that after years of Singaporeans speaking perfect English on television, they would produced some material with its characters speaking Singlish. It was considered must see TV for its first three seasons and broke all records for English language television viewing when it was launched in 1996.
