Programme Information

Welcome to Hell. 100 foot waves, hurricane force winds and the thunderous roaring that can only mean one thing: you have entered The Perfect Storm.

In the October of 1991, the deep sea fishing boat, "Andrea Gail" left Gloucester, Massachussetts and headed for the North Atlantic fishing grounds.

Two weeks later, an event took place that had never occurred in recorded history. A confluence of weather conditions combined to form the biggest storm the North Atlantic had ever endured.

The boat was never seen again, and this is the story of the Perfect Storm.

George Clooney plays the part of the captain of the Andrea Gail, Captain Billy Tyne. The cast's masterful acting combined with incredible state-of-the-art special effects brings this true story to vivid life.
