In the coverage from Dubai I noticed that Curlin was wearing what appeared to be a padded or sheepskin martingale. I have never seen one of these before. Are they used only during training or for racing as well? Do any British trainers use them or are they purely an American thing?

Is it true that horse racing is the only sport where competitors are not permitted to have beards? If so, could someone give me the reason why please.

I was disgusted to hear the owner of Denman say "we did everything we could to break kauto stars heart. If he knew anything about horses apart from the money aspect he would know that was a very stupid thing to say and you showed that clip on the morning line this morning!!! no concern for any horses then. The owner of kauto star however was a gentleman in defeat

I enjoyed the Morning Line, a.m. today.

The spat from the bewiskered misogynist did make for viewer entertainment. 'You didn't go to public school.' (or similar) John appears to have the brain and attitude problems of an 11 year old public schoolboy. 'Female' his normal address to his colleague. 'Juicy' to a woman he interviewed yesterday. Definitely juvenile public schoolboy humour - offensive to normal people,

Whipping? Endorphins are probably released in racing horses. Their awareness of the whip and pain will be very different whilst racing - to their awareness when at rest. Do horses exhibit distress at the end of a race that can be attributed to whipping?

Perhaps the bewiskered fatball should have a twitch applied to his upper lip permanently.

hi just to let know at christmas i did a antepost bet at corals, On a horse that was running in the cheltenham gold cup but it was also entered in other races at cheltenham that week and when they took my bet they said as long as it runs that week it does not matter what race this runs in. But now one day before cheltenham they say my horse is a loser even those my horse is still running and they are going keep my money. I am well p*** off, why do a ANTEPOST BET!!!!

My children set up a race at wimbledon for my 70th birthday in October. All the family went that night to the restaurant . They had sponsored a race in my name and I presented the trophy to no 2 the winner. This also happened to be my birth date and I hadn't backed it!!

I AM A REGULAR WATCHER OF THE MORNING LINE EVERY SATURDAY, AND I AM DISAPPOINTED THAT YOU HAVENT GIVEN US A WEEKLY UPDATE OF RICHARD DUNWOODYS TRECK TO ANTARTICA FOR RACING CHARITIES

MAYBE IT IS BECAUSE HE IS READING A DICK FRANCIS BOOK AND NOT A JOHN FRANCOME BOOK.
