Sam Caine (Geena Davis) is a woman who has been suffering from amnesia for the [ast 8 years. Now her only memory is of the last 8 years which consist of being a wonderful housewife and mother to her 8-year-old daughter, Caitlin (Yvonne Zima) and a fantastic cook.
They both live in a small New England town where everyone knows everyone else, you know the kind of place.
However, this idyllic life is about to change when she gives her head a fair bang and starts remembering her past.
Soon she starts remembering a life as a deadly top-secret agent named Charly Baltimore. Not only has this become something she wishes she didn't have to deal with now she realises that her old acquaintances from this life are out to get her.
Now she must enlists the help of a cheap detective named Mitch Henessey (Samuel L. Jackson).
As Samantha begins to remember more and more of this previous life, she becomes far deadlier and more resourceful. Now Mitch and Charly have to do the killing thing, the bleeding thing and the shooting thing.
A really good action movie ... if I do say so myself :o)
