Programme Information

This Sci-Fi movie takes place in Washington D.C., but in a time after the U.S. military manage to wipe out the entire male population by inventing and using a biological warhead during a battle with Afghanistan, this biological weapon was called the "Y-Bomb."

The bomb only killed men, by its effects destroying the Y chromosone. However this deadly virus then mutated and spread across the globe, killing 97% of the men worldwide.

The women left behind quickly decide that they didn't really need the men after all, so all men were outlawed on the grounds that their aggressive and violent genetic tendencies were responsible for everything bad in the world, and withut them - the world will undoubtedly be a better place to live in.

However this 'paradise' isn't enough for one particular, renegade female scientist, called Hope Chayse (Julie Bowen). Hope takes the teachings of her scientific mentor, and the knowledge of cloning technology used to propagate the female race and creates an outlawed male baby, but whom she has created to be non-violent.

Hope then takes the baby and drives to her secluded cabin in the woods.

This male clone was designed to grow at an accelerated rate, so within a month the baby has grown up in to a studly twenty-something.

Now an FBI agent, going under the name Kara Hastings (Tamlyn Tomita), must track down this illegally cloned being.
