Programme Information

The Jackal is loosely based on the 1970's book and movie that were based on actual events.

The Jackal (Bruce Willis), is an infamous terrorist and spy who has been hired to assassinate the head of the FBI.

An imprisoned IRA terrorist called Declan Mulqueen (Richard Gere) is the only man who can identify The Jackal and Carter Preston (Sydney Poitier) is the CIA agent who has been put in charge of the operation being assisted by Mulqueen to locate and destroy the Jackal.
