Programme Information

Former 'James Bond' Timothy Dalton stars in this thrilling drama set in Northern Ireland during the 1980s. During a notably troubled period, a former IRA terrorist, Gingy, is arrested for the assassination of a Belfast judge. The culprit finds himself at the hands of Lt. David Ferris, a sympathetic British military officer, and DCI Rennie, a hard-line Ulster policeman who has devoted his life to ending terrorism in Northern Ireland. As Rennie pressures Ferris to coerce Gingy to reveal the names of other IRA terrorists, Gingy is faced with the ultimate dilemma of endangering his family or facing life imprisonment.
