Very few things move me as this documentary did. I'm not a doctor but I would donate money to a charity that sends doctors to people like Wao Lao Yang. If anyone knows of a reputable charity that does that kind of work then please let me know.

Sadly my tears cannot help the little angel we've all come to love by watching the documentry. Wao Lao Yang a beautiful 9 year old girl who was courageous beyond belief. I've cut a photo out of her simply because i want a little piece of her with me to take care of. I hope she is happy in another world.

    God bless little angel X

Lao Yang died a few months after her operations in Shanghai. The cancer that had gone untreated for a long time had spread to her lung. But she did manage to return to school for a short time. There are so many touching and moving moments in the documentary. I just wished that in today's world of advance medicine and communications, help, like the one from Dr Artherton had reached Lao Yang and audiences like us earlier so this poor dead girl need not suffer during her short life and is able to live longer.

I have just watched this - it truly broke my heart to see it, could't stop crying. I admire her and her family for their bravery. I pray to god Wan Lao fufils her dreams as she most deserves it!! I would like to know of updates on her health and too would like to make a donation any knowledge on how to do this? If people extended their hands a little further her condition to this extreme could have been avoided and treated much earlier!

What a sad but brave story! Shows how fortunate we are in the western world and makes us realise how we take things for granted living in a consumerist society when other people in the world are suffering so much.

I happen to watch this documentary show by just switching channels and the title attracted me and I waited till the commercial was over and when I saw the little girl I was at the lost of words and it pains me. I can see she is a beautiful girl, and she is so brave and I can sense the optimistism in her.

I applaud Dr Atherton and everyone that was involved in giving her that 2nd chance to look normal and live a normal life.

    God Bless you...
