Oscar-nominated Charles Coburn plays the world's richest man, who is annoyed to hear workers at one of his stores are trying to form a union. Getting a menial job, he's determined to root out the troublemakers, led by Robert Cummings, but soon finds their grievances are genuine through the eponymous Miss Jones, Coburn's co-worker and Cummings' girlfriend.
