Programme Information

The time is the 1960's, the place.. France.

The surviving members of the abandoned French Foreign Legion are making continual attempts to assassinate the French President, Charles De Gaulle (Adrien Cayla-Legrand).

Now, so heavily gauded, the Legion can't get anywhere near him to carry out and complete their much sought after mission.

Therefore they decide to hire a professional hitman to carry out the job for them, The Jackal (Edward Fox), in return for a booty of $500,000.

This film follows The Jackal's thorough preparations and the French police's following of his trail.
