Programme Information

Frederic Garson's film, scripted by Luc Besson, stars Mia Frye as India Rey, a mute dance teacher who finds expression through her dances on the stage of her local Brooklyn nightclub. "Managed" by her brother Jasper, she hopes to make the big time when she's accepted for a Broadway show, only to be rejected when it's found out she's mute.
