Beary Barrington has always felt he's different from everyone else in his family, and that he doesn't fit in. So one day he sets off to find people who are more like him. He also wants to re-unite his favourite band, The Country Bears, and get them to play a special benefit concert to save the legendary venue Country Bear Hall, where the band played its first gigs. Along the way he has lots of adventures, meets some interesting people, and learns that his family loves him despite the fact that he's different. This fun family film also stars performances or appearances from such legendary performers as Don Henley, Elton John, Queen Latifah, Willie Nelson and Bonnie Raitt.
