Programme Information

The final episode of Peter Hall's adaptation of Mary Wesley's much-loved novel. Calypso receives good news about Hector but Max learns of his son's death in a concentration camp. The scene then moves to 1984 and a gathering on the camomile lawn to pay last respects to Max; a time for long-concealed secrets to be revealed.
