Programme Information

Multi-Oscar-winning melodrama revolving around the relationship between a clinging mother and her headstrong daughter. While widow Aurora fends off a stream of admirers, daughter Emma learns the hard facts of married life. She is stunned to find that her college professor husband is having an affair with one of his students, but a much greater shock lies in store after a routine visit to the doctor.
