Now on our screens for over thirty years, this stalwart of the BBC's Sunday programming has often moved times, but not its reasoning.

Each week a team of presenters visit different churches up and down the country to hear hymns and songs of worship from differing groups of church-goers. This programme also asks a selection of the parishioners to talk about their beliefs and how they fit into their daily lives.

Presenters include : Pam Rhodes, Aled Jones and Diane-Lousie Jordan plus guest presenters and musicians.

When is Songs of Praise next on TV?

In the UK... it's next showing on BBC 1 November 23rd, 5:20pm and on BBC 1 November 30th, 5:15pm. See more...

    Re. Songs of Praise 6th. April 2008.

    I was very concerned that immediately following an interview on "Weight problems" the camera lingered for an inordinately long time on a girl who was obviously overweight. imagine how she feels when she sees the Video of the broadcast with family and friends. I was saddened by the insensitivity of the camera operator, and,. perhaps even more, the Producer.
