Compelling drama, based on a true story, about a young woman who contracts Aids and fights the disease to become an inspiration to thousands. When aspiring artist Alison Gertz checks in for tests following persistent illness, she is shocked to learn that she is suffering from Aids. Her parents are confronted with the harrowing task of trying to help her come to terms with her condition and the changes that are overtaking her life.
