Programme Information

Adaptation of the Biblical tale of Solomon and the temptress Queen of Sheba, who seduces him in an effort to topple him from power but ends up falling in love with him. The last film directed by King Vidor, with Tyrone Power replaced by Yul Brynner in the title role after Power suffered a fatal heart attack during filming.
