Programme Information

The ever-innocent Hayley Mills stars in a classic British tear-jerker, with a very youthful Ian 'Deadwood' McShane as the object of her affections. It's the tale of a mentally-handicapped girl's struggle to overcome the trauma of witnessing an accidental death, her subsequent regression into childhood and a romance with a gypsy boy.
