At the dawn of the 20th century, the eccentric scientist Professor Edward Challenger (Peter McCauley) returns from the Amazon with news of a distant plateau where creatures from the dawn of time still prowl the jungle.
To prove his story, he gathers a team of explorers together, including Ned Malone (David Orth) a journalist, Lord John Ruxton (William Snow) a playboy-adventurer, Marguerite Krux (Rachel Blakely) the beautiful socialite, and a pilot to help him in his quest.
This band of adventurers set off on an epic expedition in order to prove the existence of a lost world isolated from the modern world.
However, disaster occurs when a surprise attack on their camp leaves them trapped and isolated in this dangerous land with only the help of a young wild woman called Veronica (Jennifer O'Dell) who was stranded in the land herself as a child.
Together, the band fight to survive against the fearsome dinosaurs and other exotic dangers that the land has, where humans are no longer the lords of the earth... they are helpless prey and they desperately search for a way to escape.
