Programme Information

Lavish, romantic adventure story about the 18th-century Scottish hero Rob Roy MacGregor. Forced to borrow money from the Marquis of Montrose to help his people survive the harsh Highland winter, the honest clan leader and his brave wife become embroiled in a vicious plot by which the Marquis aims to discredit his rival, the Duke of Argyll. Intrigue, swordplay, and hairsbreadth escapes culminate in a decisive duel.
