Programme Information

Sam Mendes's Oscar-garlanded 30s-set film noir thriller stars Tom Hanks as killer Michael Sullivan in the employ of crime boss John Rooney. But Newman's son is jealous of the closeness the two share and kills Sullivan's family, apart from his oldest son. The pair go on the road seeking revenge and then a new life. But Rooney knows the only way to save his son is to eliminate Sullivan, and sets another hit man on their trail
