Can you imagine having your secret diary published? Well that's what happens to shy dreamer Jamie, after she hands it in instead of her English assignment. She has created an alter-ego called Is, who is everything Jamie's not - saucy, attractive and popular. Is even wins the heart of the most popular boy in school. When Jamie's journal is published she becomes an overnight celebrity, and as she's forced into the limelight she becomes more and more like Is.
