"The facts of the case are these…" so says our narrator, veteran comedy actor Jim Dale, in episode one of this fairytale love story.

Little Ned is a young boy with a very special gift. He can bring people back to life with just one touch. It's a skill he learns when his beloved pooch Digby gets hit by a truck. Just after impact the lovely retriever is up and about again.

But the story gets complicated when he discovers his childhood sweetheart, Chuck, has been murdered. Ned has been working for a private investigator who wants Chuck brought back to life for just enough time to reveal the identity of the killer. Then he wants Ned to touch her a second time, thereby consigning her to a second and permanent death. But can he do it?

    I seriously dont get it, you heap praise upon A LOT of utter rubbish shown on TV, yet something quirky and different like Pushing Daisies you dismiss as "over-complex, sickly-sweet, icky-yucky". Yes, of course you're entitled to an opinion, but my opinion is that you're totally wrong! PD is a great show!!! I really hope you dont put anyone off this great show with your horrible review!!
