Price of Glory (2000)Running Time: 118 minutes (approx)Production Year: 2000Rating: 15 CertificateFilmed in ColourArturo Ortega (Jimmy Smits) is an ex-boxing champion. Loving his sport, he is now a bitter man after the knowledge that his career and shining future was taken from him by his crooked manager. Now he has decided to channel all of this negative thought and bitter disappointment in making sure that boxing championships will be won by his three sons, Sonny (Jon Seda), Jimmy (Clifton Collins Jr) and Johnny (Ernesto Hernández). This is that story. Starting from the boys fighting in pee-wee (junior) Silver Glove boxing competitions the boys' father pushes his sons relentlessly and takes it upon himself to manage the boys as weel as coach them. Now a sports promoter named Nick Everson (Ron Perlman) wants to sign the boys to a lucrative contract, however Arturo (still wary of such people) refuses these offers. Now ten years on, however, and old enough to run their own lives, one by one Arturo's son's (all of which have a very different relationship with their father) decide and carry out their own decisions. However this rejection is hard for Arturo, so hard in fact that the question arises that will he ever be able to step aside and let his sons follow their own destiny. Now they're not only fighting in the ring, they're fighting to save their family. Cast (unconfirmed)
