An action-packed, romanticised account of how Buffalo Bill and Wild Bill Hickok established the Pony Express in California, saved the state from secession and became an integral part of Wild West mythology. Buffalo Bill and his sidekick Hickok attempt to foil a plot involving a Sioux chief, a stagecoach owner and a foreign spy to urge California to break away from the Union.
