Japanese animation series based on the smash Nintendo game.

In the fantastic world of Pokémon, kids are allowed to be trainers, capturing and working with the wild monsters known as Pokémon, and pitting them in fights against other trainers.

For Ash Ketchum the dream is to become a Pokémon master, but to do this he must travel the land looking for Pokémon to challenge and add to his team of monsters. Ably assisted by fellow trainers Misty and Brock and accompanied by his first ever Pokémon, Pikachu, Ash embarks on a series of adventures which take him around the world, all the while discovering new and wonderful things about the amazing little creatures called Pokémon.
