Tense thriller about a radio DJ who becomes the object of a listener's desire that escalates into a fanatical obsession. After a one-night stand, he finds himself pursued by a woman who won't take no for an answer and goes to increasingly drastic lengths to declare her undying love for him. When these fail, her desire is transformed into an uncontrolled bid for revenge. Clint Eastwood's directorial debut.
