Exuberant romantic drama about a Chinese girl in 60s Liverpool and her bid to avoid an arranged marriage. Peggy Su has arrived from Hong Kong to work in her brother's laundry when her father announces he has chosen a husband for her. Her quest for true love leads her to the dance floor where, she discovers, her heart belongs.
