Historical adventure based on the true story of a celebrated 19th-century Australian outlaw, an Irish settler who turns to a life of crime after being unjustly imprisoned. When he is released, he embarks on a career as a horse thief together with his brothers and their stepfather. But the easy life turns sour when the police attempt to force the brothers out of hiding by arresting their mother.
