"Murder in Mind" was an extremely impressive film. I thought Mitch Ward (New York Lincoln Center) was exceptional in his cameo as the court clerk, and Nigel Hawthorne was creepy through most of the movie - brilliantly so. The script loses some steam during the brutal scenes....it's as if the director couldn't really get into that genre...Morahan's style is more Alfred Hitchcock without gore. Mary-Louise Parker is "scotch and soda"...absolutely fabulous!....See the movie and you'll know why. Worth the look on DVD or at a great revival house CINEMA near you.
