Rosalind Russell plays Mrs Emily Pollifax, a woman of a certain age whose children are all grown up and whose husband has died. How better to fill the empty hours than by volunteering her services as a spy for the CIA? In fact, since she neither looks nor acts like a spy, she's perfect and is assigned the task of picking up a microfilm from Mexico City.
