Atmospheric sci-fi suspense story about a team of astronauts sent on a rescue mission to the red planet to bring back survivors of the first manned landing on Mars. The first crew appear to have met with a mysterious disaster and when the rescuers arrive on the planet they find that Mars may not be as dead as the human race have assumed.

Mission to Mars is a Film programme that first aired in 2000 and has been rated PG.
