Loved it! What about the Vulgar Boatmen in episode two? Bring 'em back!

I have yet to see last night's programme but it is on tape for viewing later. For a future programme Lord Bragg might consider reading R.M.Ballantyne's (yes, the Coral Island author) 'Deep Down- A Tale of the Cornish Mines' which gives some graphic details of life underground in the tin mines of West Cornwall in the mid-19th Century.

    Best Wishes,

    Roy Carne
