Filmed over two-and-a-half years, this poignant and moving programme follows 50 stone Colin Corfield's battle to shed weight and reclaim his life. As he prepares to undergo a series of major operations to reduce his stomach and drastically cut his weight, Colin faces up to the dark reasons why he put on weight in the first place.

    Hi there, i am a young Aussie man, who came across this documentary and just wanted to say i think this is an amazing man and to be able to share his troubles is so beautiful, he is an adorable man and i wish the best for him, i watched the documentary and felt every bit of his pain and struggles, so thanks Colin for this indepth documentary

    Maybe if people concentrated on why Barry is so fat, and why he is draining the country of Benifits due to his own fault "EATING" this may be more beneficial.He drinks 40 pints of beer a day and copious amounts of coke,not to mention having a Mercedez and going to football matches.

    Wish I could do that .

    I watched this programme last night and would just like to say how inspired I am by Colin. He has shown amazing strengh and perseverance and should be very very proud of himself. I am truly amazed and touched by his story and would like to wish him all the luck and happiness in the world for his future. Well done :)
