Programme Information

George A. Romero is the Hollywood King of Zombies - no-one makes an undead film like him. Now the man who made a fortune from walking corpses brings us the fourth in his zombie series and it's a worthy successor to the other three.

This time the zombies have over-run the country, and the few remaining humans have barricaded themselves into a fenced city. Dennis Hopper plays Kaufman, self-appointed ruler of the city, who's challenged by Cholo (John Leguizamo). Cholo has stolen the zombie-fighting truck and Kaufman wants it back. Their power struggle takes place against a violent and gory perpetual battle against the zombies, adding some characteristically gruesome scenes to the movie as the humans try to keep the undead at bay.

This latest Romero classic is a must-see for all zombie movie fans and has enough shocks to satisfy even the most voracious horror lover.
