This science fiction thriller is set in a dystopic near-future.

Judge Dredd (Sylvester Stallone) is the most famous of The Judge's (cop's with instant field judiciary powers) in the world, but when he is convicted for a crime he did not commit, his murderous counterpart escapes punishment.

While in Aspen Prison Colony, Judge Dredd meets a fellow inmate with a DNA structure identical to his own.

It doesn't take Dredd long to come to the conclusion that his new acquaintance was responsible for the murder, but proving it from inside the prison is not going to be easy task!

With the help of a prisoner who he himself convicted, Dredd sets out to clear his name while leaving a trail of destruction, snappy catch-phrases, and dazzling special effects in his wake.
