Programme Information

Adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's classic novel. A young woman takes up the post of governess at the sombre Thornfield Hall. At the same time as she finds herself falling in love with her mysterious and aloof master, Mr Rochester, she begins to unlock some of the secrets which conspire to make the household such a forbidding place.
