Thrills and excitement in this adventure based on a true story. A young man and his loyal team of sled dogs embark on a treacherous cross-country race across the frozen wastes - a race which they must win if they are to save the family farm. The tragic loss of his father in a sledding accident has brought Will's family to the brink of financial ruin. He must enter this perilous race and try to win the prize money if he's to keep his home and dreams of going to college. Nothing, however, could have prepared him for the dangers and hardships that lie ahead.
